NOTES: There was only on hitch with using the LED strips provided by Hi-tecdesigns. The OEM windscreen had a little too much tint in it to allow the proper light to shine through. So, with the help of a member on MY350Z.com I was able to source a piece of Starlite glass cut to the proper dimensions which had no tint whatsoever. The windscreen logo was custom created and etched by me.

Windscreen Light

Using the same system as the Brakelight Tubes, the Windscreen Lights are a car-specific customization with an integrated feel, designed with the convertible or roadster in mind. Note: Windscreen Lights are currently listed as a custom item and may require longer than usual leadtimes. Please contact us for availabilty.

When power is first applied, the system will quickly fade up from black to white, shine a bright white for 8-10 seconds, and then begin a slow, continuous cycle through the entire rainbow of colors. A control wire allows you to freeze the color at any time and store it in memory. The next time power is applied, the chosen color will shine down. Simply apply power to the control wire again at any time to begin the color cycling once again.

Tap into your vehicle's existing brake lights, reverse lights, and turn signals and show everyone behind you that you mean business. The Tubes will turn red with every press of the brake pedal, white when you place it into reverse, and flash amber with the turn signals. Due to the height of most windscreens in the cockpit, this could easily be called a third brakelight.
